E-commerce direct-to-consumer cold chain at Colden Mehsana
E-commerce DTC

Frozen and refrigerated shipping to the doorstep, without the meltdown.

Sending frozen kebab platters to a flat in Ahmedabad in May is one of the hardest jobs in cold logistics. We pack to lane, ship to spec, and report drop temperature so the second order shows up.

The vertical

What e-commerce direct-to-consumer looks like at Colden.

Indian e-commerce DTC frozen and refrigerated brands grew faster than the cold chain that serves them. Our Mehsana hub runs a refrigerated pick-and-pack zone for DTC orders, carrier-rated insulated mailers, and dry ice or gel pack programmes sized to the lane and the dwell. A 1-day mailer to a customer 90 km away gets a different ice payload than a 2-day mailer to Surat in May, and the Logistix WMS picks the right one. We also publish a drop-temperature monitoring programme: a sample of orders ship with a temperature logger that returns by reverse pickup, so we can show the buyer where the cold chain actually held.

Buyer

Who we talk to.

Heads of operations at Indian DTC food brands. Founders at frozen meal startups. Co-packers running outsourced DTC fulfilment across Gujarat and the wider Western India belt.
