Repacking, kit assembly, FSSAI support, DTC fulfilment, and custom labelling.
Storage and transport are the spine. Value-added is where the product gets ready for the shelf, the website, or the inspector. We run it in-line with the Logistix WMS so the cold chain never breaks for a label swap.
How we run value-added.
A pallet of frozen ready meals does not become a retail-ready unit by sitting on the rack. Someone has to pull it down, re-case it, label it, kit it with a sauce sachet, and stage it for the right outbound. We run value-added stations on the Mehsana operations floor, refrigerated where they need to be, with WMS-linked stations so every move is tracked against a customer SKU in the Logistix WMS.
What value-added covers.

The work inside value-added.
Repacking
Case-to-tray, master-pack split, and club-pack assembly run cold where needed.
Repacking is the most common value-added request we get. An FMCG brand needs 24 ct master cases broken into 6 ct retail packs. A modern trade account needs two 8 ct trays bundled into a 16 ct sleeve. We run those stations refrigerated, with WMS-linked scanners tied to the Logistix stack so every move is logged against the customer SKU and the outbound order.
- Case-to-tray, master-pack split, club-pack assembly
- Stations refrigerated to product spec
- WMS-linked, no paper tickets
- Reject rate reported daily
Kit assembly
Multi-SKU kits, sauce sachet inclusion, and retail-ready display assembly.
Meal kits, festival bundles, and retail-ready displays all need someone to put pieces together. We do that on kitting stations at the Mehsana facility, refrigerated when the kit holds dairy or protein, ambient when it does not. Stations are SKU-locked in the Logistix WMS, so a wrong-component build flags before it gets shrink-wrapped.
- Kitting stations refrigerated and ambient
- SKU-locked components per build in Logistix WMS
- Shrink-wrap and retail-ready packaging available
- Suited to FMCG, dairy, and frozen food brand programmes
FSSAI inspection support
On-site room for FSSAI inspectors at the Mehsana facility.
FSSAI inspectors do not work out of a Portacabin. We give them a room, a workstation, a printer, and a witnessable chamber inside the secure side of the building. Chain of custody is documented for every move in and out via the Logistix WMS, and witness inspections are scheduled within 4 hours of customer request.
- On-site FSSAI inspection room
- Witnessable chambers, documented chain of custody
- 4-hour witness inspection turnaround
- Compatible with FoSCoS workflows
E-commerce fulfilment
Indian DTC pick-and-pack out of refrigerated rooms with same-day cut-off windows.
Indian DTC frozen and refrigerated shipping is brutal. A 2-day transit window with an 8-hour summer porch dwell is the worst place a frozen kebab platter can spend a Friday. We pack DTC orders from refrigerated rooms into carrier-rated insulated mailers with dry ice or gel packs sized to the lane, with a 14:00 IST cut-off for next-day carrier pickup out of the Mehsana hub.
- DTC hub at Mehsana
- Carrier-rated insulated mailers
- Dry ice or gel packs sized to lane and dwell
- 14:00 IST cut-off for next-day pickup
Custom labelling
Print-on-demand for date codes, country-of-origin, allergen, and export labels.
Labels change. A retailer adds an allergen icon, an export customer needs Arabic or French translation on the carton, an APEDA export lane needs new country-of-origin language. We run print stations at the Mehsana facility, with print queues tied to the customer SKU and approval workflow so no unapproved label ever leaves the building.
- Print stations tied to SKU and approval workflow
- Export label translations available (Arabic, French)
- Allergen, date code, COO, and APEDA export lot codes supported
- Logistix WMS authoritative for label-to-SKU mapping
Numbers we live with.
